Dr. Fearon is an Employer representative (CEC-appointed). He is President of George Brown College. Dr. Fearon has extensive experience in government and post-secondary education, including a strong teaching and research record, and has served on several community boards. He is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2013) and the Michaëlle Jean Foundation Influencer Award (2017). Dr. Fearon holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Western Ontario as well as a CPA, CGA and an ICD.D designation. (Appointed 2023)
