Laura joined CAAT in September 2022, to build the newly created internal audit function. With over 25 years of executive leadership in internal audit, risk management, corporate compliance and CFO duties with a variety of multinational publicly listed organizations and Canadian regulated companies, she is recognized for her ability to build trust with stakeholders and bring pragmatic business-focused solutions to her clients. Laura has an “open door” policy for all CAATsters and welcomes the opportunity to assist with internal audit, risk management or process improvement opportunities or questions. Laura is also responsible for the Protected Disclosure policy and the investigation of complaints made through this confidential mechanism. Laura holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
