We’re making retirement planning easier. This year, active members will see a fresh look to their 2024 annual pension statements.

Your annual statement is a comprehensive summary of your membership and is one of your most valuable retirement planning resources. Every year, your statement gives you a snapshot of your membership in the Plan from the date you joined until December 31 of the previous year.

Plus, it answers two really important questions:

• When can you retire?
• And how much pension will you receive?

Let’s take a closer look

The new streamlined design is easier to read and displays the information you really want to know about your defined benefit (DB) pension at a glance. You can also check out our video tutorial for a full walk-through of your new 2024 annual statement in greater detail.

Here’s a quick summary of what you can expect to see in each section of your statement:

Personal information and your pension

• The first page shows your personal information on record with CAAT such as your Member ID, date of birth, spouse (if applicable) and designated beneficiaries, and
• The annual and monthly pension you earned at the end of 2024, payable at age 65.

Your retirement dates

• Your eligible retirement dates, including your normal date of retirement at age 65 as well as the earliest date you can retire.

Employment information

• Your employment information, the date you enrolled in CAAT Pension Plan and current plan design – DBplus or DBprime.

Your pension details

• The contributions you made in 2024 and your overall service and earnings for the calendar year.

GROWTHplus Investment Account (GROWTHplus)

• If you had a GROWTHplus balance as of December 31, 2024, you’ll get a separate GROWTHplus annual statement in June.

Details about Plan provisions, plan valuation and other supporting information

• A description of the Plan provisions, survivor benefits and other details such as any Plan amendments in 2024 are explained in the last three pages.

Sign-in to My Pension, CAAT’s member portal

For more detailed information about your CAAT pension, please log onto My Pension. Once online, you can download your annual statement, see the value of your DB pension, get pension estimates of your preferred date of retirement and more. Remember to activate CAAT’s multifactor authentication feature when signing in to My Pension.

Note: At this time, members who are currently working for an employer directly administered by CAAT will receive the new statement. Retired members, deferred members, and members in their extension of membership period will see changes to their statements in the years to come.
